Little
frog, I hear your silent wish. I know you want to
return to the handsome prince you once were.
For you see, I am Willow, the
Keeper of
Silent Wishes.
I hear those that can not speak or choose to tuck away their
dreams in silence. So for you, my little friend, I
will give one wave of my magic wand and you will become
a handsome prince once more!
You
will love making Willow!
She
has a shapely body made of cotton. Her
face is a mask - also made of cotton or muslin.
If
you haven't used a mask before on your dolls, you
will soon realize that the wonderful thing about using one
is that if you make a mistake, you can remove it and make another
mask.
You don't ruin the whole doll!
In
this class, you will also learn to make a head that turns
from side to side. Her
fingers can be simply stuffed or there are instructions
to make them posable.
Also
included are instructions to make a long pile fake fur wig.
However, the hair can be made of other things, such as mohair
or yarn.
The
face is sculpted and the features are drawn on using colored
pencils, pens, or paint.
There
is even a chapter in the class that shows you how to make
the little frog!
Willow
is easy enough that anyone with basic sewing skills can
make her......yet even experienced doll makers will love
the way
her body is constructed!
