by Gail Kellison
This class teaches you how to make my Shy Kids. These dolls are 34" tall, have jointed arms and use PVC pipe in the legs. They are similar to the dolls that are called Time-Out Dolls or Pouter Dolls. Many diagrams and explanations are included in this class to enable anyone that has even a small amount of doll making knowledge to be able to complete a doll. There is also an alternative given to using PVC pipe in the legs and yet they will stand alone. You will be able to make four different dolls in this class using one basic body pattern. The dolls wear size 2T clothes and size 5-1/2 children's shoes, but as a little extra for you, there are instructions for making a dress, a girl's hat, and a boy's ball cap. The following is the class schedule: Chapter 1: Making Mandy ~ The basic body and a simple face. NOTE: Gail's Classes have been retired as of 12/08/06.
