Presented by Crafty College, Bluebonnet Crafters and Crafts 'n Things Magazine Angelic Animal Pins by Judy Edmondson
Finished Sizes: 3/4" to 1-3/4" tall
Turn buttons into angelic messengers in just minutes! The pins are small enough to place inside a greeting card, adding an extra-special surprise. Buttons come in a great variety, so no one will be left off your list. The pins would also be great sellers at a church or craft bazaar.
Animal button, 1/2" to 1-1/4" across. Miniature gold wings, 1" across. Gold tie-tac set. Gold craft wire, 24-gauge, 1-1/2 inches. Clear adhesive gel*. *E6000® Adhesive Gel by Eclectic Products was used for this project. Supplies: Pencil, craft knife or single-edge razor blade, wire cutters. Cut shank from back of button. Use craft knife or razor blade if shank is plastic. If shank is metal, remove with wire cutters. Glue button to center of wings. Let glue dry. Glue tie-tac base to center back of wings; let dry. For halo, wrap one end of wire around pencil; twist wire ends together to secure. Remove wire from pencil. Trim wire stem to 1/4". Glue stem to back of animal's head; let dry. Bend halo forward over head. | Back to the Classroom at Crafty College | ![]() Clapper Communications and Crafts 'n Things Magazine are proud to be a part of the Web of Angels this year!
